Does anyone else not log their cardio/calories burned?

I've only been at this for two weeks, but I noticed I was haggling with myself regarding calories in and calories out. For example, if I wanted to eat more than my calorie count would allow, I'd go for a walk to burn the calories to "make room" for the treat, the proverbial dangling carrot. I'm oversimplifying, but you get the idea.
So, a few days ago, I increased my daily net calorie count from 1200 to 1420. And I stopped logging my activities. What I'm finding is that I'm way less stressed about how or what to eat since I am not trying to counter the NUMBERS with burned calories via exercise (although I'm still just as active, if not more so). Oh, and guess what? I'm still losing weight at the same rate as before.
To each their own. I was just curious if anyone else has been through this?
