little things add up

I've been thinking about all the ways that I've changed - all the little things I've done that increase my activity level but don't really add up to "working out" or "exercise."
- parking farther away from the door at the mall, grocery store, movie theater, etc
- taking the stairs instead of the elevator or escalator
- walking to get my mail instead of picking it up on my way in the driveway
- going into the bank (or restaurant) instead of the drivethru
- playing with my cat more (good for him too!)
What are some things you do?

You are so right! I also:
Don't try to carry in all the groceries in one trip - make two.
Same for getting things in and out of the fridge. Make extra trips.
Carry groceries to the car instead of using the cart.
Listen to music and dance while I vacuum.
Ride the exercise bike during Biggest Loser or Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition.0
