Lack of satisfaction with food

Hello everyone, I am feeling less than satisfied by the end of the day. I am still feeling hungry sometimes. I was wondering if anyone else felt this way and how you deal with it?
Any tips/tricks or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, becasue I hate this feeling of deprivation. I am by no means starving myself, but perhaps I am just not understanding food the way I should.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Can you open up your food diary? It is difficult to give advice when we don't know what or how much you eat.0

Eating more fat and protein will create more satiety than eating carbs. When eating carbs be sure they are high in fiber. Avoid anything marked as "low fat" or "lite/light" as these foods use a lot of sodium, sugar and sugar substitutes to add flavor.
Edited to add:
MFP has it's protein settings way too low and it's carb settings way to high for people who want to lose weight. I switched mine to 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat, and that seems to keep the munchies away.0
