I made this and it is awesome! Be sure to measure it out so you get the perfect portion to get the right calories, but it really helps the sweet tooth. Its from this month's Cooking Light Magazine:

    Chocolate - Almond Toffee

  • OMG, Wonton grilled cheese. I buy the square Nasoya wonton wrappers from the produce section, near the tofu, and I vary the type of cheese I use depending on my mood. (Yesterday, it was about half a slice of pepperjack per sandwich.) Simply heat your skillet over medium, put in wrappers, add cheese, put on top wrappers. Cook for a little bit for slightly chewy, longer for crispy.

I eat this often. I am not a big turkey fan but this is low in fat and the mushrooms give great flavor.

    TURKEY VEGGIE MEATLOAF
    1 lb 94% ground turkey
    3/4 cup Quaker oatmeal
1 egg or equivalent of three cheese egg beaters
    1 carrot (ground)
    10 Crimini mushrooms (ground)
Splash or two of Red Hot (optional).
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder.

Mix together. Put few squirts of ketchup on top. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.

Serve with half cup of mashed potatoes.

This is my own recipe to stuffed peppers, I never messure (sorry)

    Stuffed bell peppers

    green/red bell peppers (4-6 peppers)
    ground turkey meat (1-2pounds)
    brown rice
    shredded cheese
    garlic powder
    salt/pepper
**last few times in making them I have put baby carrots and spinich in food processor and chopped them up very fine and put in the mixture of meat (trying to get as much veggies as possible in them)

Cut the stem of peppers off clean out seeds and set aside
mix all other ingredients together in bowl and stuff peppers (yes raw)
    bake @ 350 for about 45-60mins

I usually cut pepper in half and put a little more shredded cheese on it and eat....

****THEY ARE GREAT TO FREEZE..........Just cut them in half , they are great for lunches!

I kinda threw together something last night for supper that I will prepare again.

I fixed Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches for my family but as an alternative for me I fixed a
    Philly Meat Stir-Fry!

    I went to Walmart
4-pack of Great Value thinly sliced beef
    Great value Deluxe Stir-Fry Vegs

I cooked one piece of the meat in a skillet. Only adding pepper.
    Then set aside and
cooked the vegs in same skillet using a lid to have a steam effect inbetween stirring.
Once veggs cooked I put the meat back in to mix all together.
Oh and I did a splash of Worcestershire also.

It was delish! I ate 2 servings of the vegs and the 1 pack of meat and was
    under 300 cals!

    Tuscan Chicken

Sounds delicious! Definitely trying that! :)
  • One of my favorites is sweet peppers and Johnny's Jamaican Me Crazy Seasoned Sea Salt. Slice up 4 whole medium sweet peppers, I use green, red, yellow and orange into strips. Sometimes I will add a whole sliced sweet red onion. Place in a large frying pan with some water and heat stirring until peppers start to lose their crispness. Remove from heat. Season with Johnny's Jamaican Me Crazy Seasoned Sea Salt seasoning and enjoy! About 150-160 calories and you get your vegetables in for the day and it is high in fiber!
