If you consistently eat too few calories you risk your body eating your lean muscle to get the fuel it needs, leading to metabolism slow down, plateaus, general unhealthiness, and a flabby look.
All of this, of course, depends on just how low your calorie intake is.0 -
If your daily deficit is large enough, it can also lead to binging.
I think it would really depend on the size of your deficit.0 -
It'll catch up to you. Best to keep steady moderate deficit, and balanced diet, rather than severely restricting things.0

You die of starvation0

Yeah, without calories, the eventual result is death. Also, don't eliminate nutrients from your diet. Add a bit of bread back in your diet or some nuts and you'll hit your calorie goal.0

Eat SOME carbs, but eat COMPLEX carbs...
We only have 3 macros, it seems silly to me to entirely ditch one whole category of food.
I personally think this anti-carb thing is just a rebound from the anti-fat diets that preceded them.
When everyone went low-fat, they filled the gap with carbs... and obesity, diabetes and other health disorders skyrocketed.
So people are cutting out carbs to lose weight, but the jury is still out on what the long term consequences of that might be.
So...
HAPPY FATS (plant & fish based)
COMPLEX CARBS
&
LEAN PROTEINS
(And don't forget your of MICRO-NUTRIENTS)0 -
You die of starvation
...but are guaranteed to lose weight with ZERO risk of regaining. Be warned: muscle mass will also deteriorate while dead, possibly leading to a "skinny fat" appearance.0 -
Chuck them my way, god what I would do with those extra cals...hhmmmm.....Oh no on second thoughts, they'd only get used up on more protein, if I see any more chicken I think i'll scream lol. But seriously, could you try adding some olive oil when cooking, that uses loads of cals. Or have slightly larger portions at meal time, as long it's something healthy of course, e.g more protein.0
