I don't know if anyone else has tried Fit-Flops, but they are a type of shoe that is supposed to give your legs and core a workout when you walk. One thing I can say for certain is that they sure are comfortable and help improve posture. I got mine from Footsmart, but I think they are sold in several places, plus they have their own site. There are not a bunch of options on styles at the moment.:frown: I think there are some other brands that have a similar function. Anyway I sure do love them, and best of all my usual chronically painful feet don't hurt!!:happy:

I didn't mean to post this under recipes, it should be under fitness I guess, but I don't know how to change it at this point!:blushing:
  • I agree, these are fabulous. I got mine this summer and wore them all through Italy for 2 weeks- my feet never hurt and I have bone spurs in my heel / plantar fasciatis.... no complaints. Not sure about toning anything but they are well worth the comfort!

I didn't get the fit-flops, but I got the sneakers - the Reebok ones? I don't notice them toning anything, but they are comfy!

I have FitFlops (bought @ BathandBodyworks.com) as well and I couldn't agree more on the comfy aspect of them. I don't have much opportunity to wear them as often as I would like, living in Ohio though (it's too cold/bad weather for more than half the year over here!). However, one option that I may try, even though this might sound a little rediculous and boring, haha... is that I could maybe just put them on and walk around my house/basement for a bit, listening to music, etc (so it's not AS boring). I will have to try that and see if they actually do help to tone at all. The new Reebok shoes would be an option too I guess, but I'm short w/funds right now and need to buy Christmas presents! Anyway, I would definitely recommend buying a pair, if anything for the comfort level... I wear them while shopping sometimes too (not super fashionable but it's worth it I guess right?!)
