i am currently on day 9 of insanity and since starting i have gained 4lbs and 1cm on hips and waist and 2cm on thighs!
im getting married in 6 weeks and wanted to look leaner not bigger! its really discouraging seeing the scales go up daily! i havent really been eating bad and i also walk lots with my double pushchair ( weight of about 100lbs) we walk 3-10miles daily in the afternoons,
did anyone else gain when they started insanity?
when did you start to lose?
any help would be appreciated!
thanks

A few things jump out at me...
1) 6 weeks is about what you need just for your body to get used to working out.
2) your body is retaining water due to the stress on the muscles - it's how the body heals. It'll balance out in time.
3) if you want to look slimmer, you'll get better/faster results if you change your diet, not start exercising.
4) "I haven't really been eating bad" is typically code for "I'm not eating the way I should be." Are you in a caloric deficit? Consistently?
