Nee more protein....Thinking of trying this?

I was looking at a friends food diary and I noticed that she eats cottage cheese everyday for the protein. I like cottage cheese but only if it is sweetened with something like sugar or pineapples. I was thinking of mixing vanilla Whey protein powder with it to sweeten it and add even more protein to it. Has anyone ever done this? Is this a good idea? If I did this I could get 54 grams of protein in 300 calories with 19 grams of carbs and 2 grams of fat. Seems like a winner to me?

  • I guess it depends on where in your meal planning you are eating this, my suggestion would be for breakfast with a piece of fruit.

    That is what I was thinking or right after I get home from the gym at lunch.

    I have used cottage cheese in smoothies before!

    I don't measure, but try some cottage cheese, vanilla whey, a teaspoon or so of cheesecake flavored jello powder

    It takes very similar to cheesecake & you can add in fruits or other liquids, as well :)
