o, bento!

I'm wondering if anyone else on MFP packs a Japanese-style bento lunch. My lunch today is in a 2-tier stacked container (570ml total capacity); I've got an umeboshi-filled rice ball, tofu stars, clementine wedges, sauteed kale and a little cup of mixed berries, and it all clocks in at just a hair over 300 calories. So much better than a boring old frozen microwave lunch!

Anyone else sharing in bento adventures? ^_^

Love Bento style lunches. I don't usually make them, but I buy Japanese food maybe twice a week.
    Post a pic.

Leiliamarchi and Rubie - I love bentos. Noticed that they are high in sodium, but love them so much! :)

Where did you get your bento? I've been looking at them and am not sure which one I'm going to get.

Edited to fix my embarrassing grammar.

I make a work bento everyday. I usually use leftovers from dinner and maybe some cutely cut up vegetables (flower shapes, etc), so nothing fancy. But I am so happy when it's lunchtime! And they usually come in at 300-400 cal

I don't pack my own bento boxes, but I buy sushi every Tuesday from the cafe at my job.

Usually on payday, I go out to the local Market Basket and get fresh-made sushi for a ridiculously low price. They have things I can't even find at the local sushi bars - spicy marinated baby octopus, for one thing, AND I can buy a Red Sox roll for a lot less than they charge at any nearby sushi place.

I only wish I could get uni - sea urchin roe, my absolute favorite.
