Polar makes various tier models ranging from mild to wild..
You may be able to save some bucks and get just the band that have the ability to broadcast via bluetooth to a smart phone which can then sync with various fitness type apps if you use them ( and assuming you have a smart phone )0 -

I googled a few before I bought my new one and then logged into Amazon.com and bought it from there vs. the big chain stores. Their prices can't be beat and they have very fast shipping. I ordered mine on a Monday and it was delivered Thursday of the same week!0
