Taking a serious journey and it's not fun

I have been on this site on and off for a while now, I am losing weight but I am pretty much doing it through trial and error. I don't do well with diets and I refuse to pay someone to help me shed lbs just so I can pay them again after I gain the weight back.

I am blessed to have an awesome husband who works out with me sometimes and is as keen as I am on getting/staying in shape. All of these pills and shakes and machines and quick fix diets just upset me and I don't care to jump on that bandwagon. I have learned that if I can create a real healthy eating and exercise plan that I will stick to and works well for my life I will be just fine.

This is really super hard, I went from 189lbs down to about 160lbs and I gain and lose depending on the month. I seriously need to keep looking for ways to make eating right and my life coexist. I love working out and I have no issue with that, it's just the eating that trips me up. I am excited to continue this journey but I am also hoping to stick to my plan and make it a part of my lifestyle for good.
