Am I getting enough Calories?

Hi Everyone,

So I recently started back on MFP. The first time I was on here I ended up quitting after a couple of weeks.I'm feeling good about it this time though--hopefully I can keep this up.

Anyways my question is about Calories: how do I know if I'm getting enough? I'm looking to lose 20lbs so MFP put me on 1200 a day. I am also excersing almost daily or at least trying to as much as possible. I usually do 40mins of Cardio and just starting up some strength training this week. Am I supposed to eat none, all, or some those excersie Calories back? I'm finding this a bit confusing.

I do eat over some days up to 200 Cals or so, but only on exercise day or if I am hungry as I will not let myself starve/ am full, then again I do eat lots of small snacks through out the day. I'm trying my best to eat as clean as possible with a treat occassionally.

Also I'm not eating much for grains but still getting in my Carbs thru veg/fruit. Is this okay? I am eating protein pretty much with every meal as well.

Also if I do need to eat more any suggestions on what? Sometimes I AM actually really full and don't feel like eating more.
