I've been eating 2-3 cans per day with a bit of dijon mustard and pepper mixed in.. because it is zero carbs and extremely high protein.. How likely is mercury poisoning? I plan on following this for the next 2 weeks. How often do you eat canned tuna?

Somewhere on here a few days ago I read that only about 2-3 cans is recommended per WEEK.
I think even 1 can a day is excessive.0 -
I love tuna! I could easily pack away a couple cans a day. It's my go to when I'm lazy, 1 can tuna with cucumber, tomato and pepper and that's a lunch for m0

We go through a case and a half of tuna a month... I wouldn't worry too much...0 -
as long as you aren't pregnant....I think I remember hearing you should be careful with tuna when pregnant.0

There was a consumer report not too long ago about how chunk light had much less mercury than the white. Which kind are you eating?
PS I love Tuna0 -
Thanks for the input ... I get the clover leaf solid white tuna low sodium in water for now... switching them up between chunk light is probably a good idea..0
