Hi all,
How do you keep yourself motivated and on the right track? I've lost weight before but I always gain it back. I can never stick to a healthy diet.
My sister got engaged in April and asked me to bridesmaid next year. I thought that was the perfect thing to keep me motivated but since April I've GAINED a stone. Now I have 2 stone to lose.
I know 2 stone isn't as much as some people but I feel horrible and am very down about it. I am so angry at myself all the time as well.
I've had a couple of ideas to keep me motivated and was wondering what else you do? My first idea was to go back to Weightwatchers. I'm not a huge fan of their system but I did it before and I know that the weekly weigh with a group does work for me.
My 2nd idea was to give my boyfriend some money today, like €50. He can only give that back to me if I lose a stone by Christmas.
Another idea I had was to tell myself I can eat 'bad' food whenever I want but I have to put the cost in cash in to my money bank. So if I buy a can of coke for €1 another €1 has to go in my money bank. Basically it means everything will cost double.
Thanks,
Aoife.
