I average anywhere between 500-1000 calories a day. I think a person should shoot for at least a 500 calorie burn if they are serious about losing weight.0

i used to have a specific calorie goal as far as exercise goes each day, but as I've evolved, I don't so much.... Currently I'm training for a half marathon..... on long run days I have been burning around 900 calories, and it's only going up from here..... On strength training days, naturally, you burn less. I run 3-4 times a week, and strength train 3 days a week - So my goal has changed to certain activities/routines, and times for exercise or distances to run.
And everyone realizes that weight loss is 80% diet. 80%. so all that exercise you're doing doesn't mean jack if you're not eating right (and by eating right i do not mean just staying under calorie goal)0
