Hi, you stylish females out there....

My husband is leaving next month for a work conference. While he's away I'm treating myself to a day of beauty and shopping.

I am getting my hair dyed/highlighted...I wanted suggestions for color for those of you who are familiar. I honestly have not done it more than a couple times in my life...Hubby thinks I'd look good with red, but I need to keep it professional for work.

Any suggestions/looks you think are nice?

Also...trying to find a bikini for our honeymoon in October...having a really hard time since, obviously, it's the end of the season to be wearing them. Anyone know of somewhere I could find a cute one this time of year?

Thanks!

    Red hair isn't "unprofessional".

    And that's all I've got. :)

It's hard to give suggestions for someone you don't know. If you have a trusted hair stylist I'd tell them you want something fun and different and see what they come up with. Otherwise, scour some magazines or pics online for something you like. Bring in a few pics and the stylist will be able to take from that what will look right on you.

It depends on the red - if it's pillarbox red it will be, but if it's really dark red it should be ok. Your hair looks gorgeous as it is, with the brown, but you could always look at getting dark red lowlights (like highlights but they make your hair darker) or going darker brown.

As for the bikini ... not really sure to be honest! H&M might have some, or Primark, or M&S ...

    Hope it helps!

I used to be red for a long time.... I stuck with more auburn-type colors.... Ones that looked slightly more natural. I always wanted to do fire-engine red, but I don't think that would go over well at my office...

I'm trying to build up the courage to go for a vibrant orange-y red that I saw that was GORGEOUS, but there is so much upkeep when I go red........ My roots are just that little bit too light to be easy to disguise when it starts to grow out... But it would be SOOOOO pretty........... hahaha
