Are tabata and HIIT (high intensity interval training) really the same thing? If not, can you please explain the difference to me? Also, feel free to share your favorite workouts!

HIIT= High-intensity interval training
High intenisty (your max) mixed with medium intensity, the way I do it is, sprint for as long as I can then walk to drop my heart rate. I walk for about 1-2 minutes and then sprint again. repeat for about 20-25 minutes. It's better for burning fat apparently.
Tabata method
20 seconds high intensity with 10 second rest period, repeat for 4-5 minutes0 -
Any other thoughts?0
