Alternatives to Poultry?

Hey guys, I have recently (like...today) given up chicken and turkey. Just can't do it anymore. I hate the taste, texture, everything. I have been masking it with sauces/seasoning/herbs and there's no reason I have to force myself to keep eating for the nutritional benefits. I like red meat and pork, but what do you non-poultry eaters (or vegetarians) eat regularly to get lean protein?

    Tofu, tempeh, lentils and seitan are my favorite non-animal protein sources. Boca veggie burgers are delicious too - 100 calories each with 19g protein!

    sirloin and pork loin and fish are my main lean proteins besides chicken.

    I eat a lot of bison (buffalo).
  • Halibut. I love it to death and eat it about 3 times a week.

    Tofu and beans. I eat a lot of beans, all kinds. Kidney beans, black beans, refried beans, you name it! Love them!! And non-dairy milk (my choice is almond milk)
