I just wanted to share that today I finally got back to lifting after about a 2 month hiatus. I am a free weights person but generally I am intimidated going over there...all the testosterone and whatnot...however, today the free weights section was dominated by women. And not with the 5lb hand weights. We were all lifting heavy. It made me happy. =) Go ladies!

    I would crap if I ever walked into the Y here and the free weights had more than 1-2 ladies working out. People choose to be intimidated and allow it to negatively impact their working out. Dude, chick, goat or pig, we are all there to sweat it out.
