I completed a half Marathon back in March 2012 and am planning a full Marathon March 2013. I have been very successful in losing weight (from 210 to 180) and now I'm ready to take fitness to a whole new level. Anyone out there have any tips on how to prepare for this run. I'm really excited about it!

I'm not a runner, myself (though I'd like to start training soon), but I wanted to post and say good for you! I wish you the best of luck with this!0

Thanks very much! By the way, if you are new to running, a few 5K runs are a good way to start out to gauge where you currently are.
Thanks again

Look up information on Tempo runs. I haven't ran anything in a while but my ex ran a couple a few years ago and trained with Team in Training...they gave her some good tips, best tip was the tempo runs...0
