shoes for high impact exercise

i have sauconys (which i love, but they wore out way too fast) and adidas (which caused me to stress fracture my foot). i have high arches and wear a size 5, so i cant even find inserts that fit. there are running stores about an hour away, but they dont stock below size 6, and im not buying shoes without trying them on first. do you guys know any insert brands thst carry, well, child sizes? and do you have a favorite shoe i should check out?
