I want one that tracks my calories burned as well as my heart rate. One that a college kid can afford...

Any ideas? Reviews?

What type of exercise are you doing?

Mainly cardio, but some strength training.

My trainer wants me to run intervals(which I usually do anyway) and get my HR up to 165.6 BPM for 1 minute and 145.2 BPM for 4 minutes 3x a week.

I have one but it's a watch with a button that you press to tell you your HR and I don't know how reliable it is on the HR let alone the calories

I have the Polar FT4. I got mine at Big5 on sale for $59 - they normally go for about $80 in stores but I believe you can find them on Amazon for roughly $65.

And it works well and seems to be accurate?

Do you wear them like all day or just when working out?
