How much longer do I run on the treadmill at a 1% incline if I can't get to the track? 50% longer? 25% longer? any ideas?

ahh, geez, I never thought about it, I'd guess maybe 10 to 20% longer maybe? I usually say as long as you can go without causing injury or until your time is up.

the track is outside, so there's wind resistance, also, you have to engage your core more when you run outside so your whole body works slightly harder (balance). And if you have to deal with any weather, then it's even harder.

Really that's odd I have a harder time running on a treadmill... I hate that machine I love the outdoors, scenery it really helps me to stay distracted hahaha

preference and perception makes a big difference. If you enjoy the gym environment, or where ever your treadmill is, then that will probably seem easier. But physically speaking, the treadmill is the easier of the two environments.
