Sorry for a random post, but I'm cold, its the last day of August - the sun is shining and I'm freezing!! I have now come to the conclusion that I'm not losing weight, I'm losing my insulation!!

Has anyone else noticed they feel the cold(!!) more so now they're losing weight?

Always. I'm much more sensitive to cold than I was 80 lbs heavier.

I haven't lost that much weight yet, but I think the lack of summer is affecting all of us! I am sat in my office with a jumper AND the heating on! Doesn't feel like August :(

As I lose weight, I definitely am much colder. Especially right after I eat. It is driving my family crazy.
I have noticed this in the past too. Before I put on the weight, I tended to stay colder than those around me. Guess we just need to prepare for this winter. But, on a good note, there are some really cute winter clothes. Sweaters that I love that I will only feel comfortable and confident in when I am smaller.

My being cold has nothing to do with weight loss it has everything to do with the fact I live in Scotland and our one week of summer is over!

Yep.. I was out eating fro-yo with friends on Wednesday and even though it wasn't that cold, the fro-yo combined with the colder air, had me shivering.

Next time I have to remember to bring my jacket!

I had the opposite happen. I mind the cold a lot less. I think it's because I'm so much more active. I don't bother wearing long pants for running unless it's below freezing. I'll wear shorts and a tank if it's above 50.

I am constantly cold! To the point where it annoys my family too haha. But it can be down to an iron deficieny so make sure you check you're eating enough of it!

I had to resort to wearing a cardigan to work this morning, and I havent put my air con on in my office, which I have been coz it does get warm in here, but nope, hands are freezing and I don't feel like I can get warm - I've got knee length socks on :grumble:

Its been warm here recently, and warm enough to walk to work at 7.30am in just t-shirt - oh well, means I can bundle up more

Oh ya! I live in Texas in the US and this has been one of the hottest summers on record, yet I walk around everywhere either wearing or carrying a sweater. I remember walking into the grocery store and I used to go to the cold food section just to cool off. Now, I have to prepare for it if I think I might have to venture close to it! I feel crazy and I know I get funny looks. And going out to eat or to a movie, I had to start wearing long pants and a sweater or I'd be shivering the whole time. I'm hopeing I can get used to it so I can actually enjoy myself instead of continuously thinking, "It's so freakin COLD!!"
  • Its definitley cold, airs a lot crisper, and out come the long sleeved dresses, not quite ready for winter coat though. I work in a really old statley home and the heating doesnt work half the time anyway, Bring on the thermals!!

I tend to be cold all of the time. I live in Buffalo, NY and winter makes me insane! Yes, I am colder the more I lose but I also notice that if I do some moderate to intense exercise and weight lifting in the mornings, I tend to stay warmer all day.

Timely, as I'm in the UK and although the sun is shining there's definitely an autumnal crispness out there. Brrrr.

But yes, since I dropped the pudge I definitely feel the cold more.

I've always had cold hands and legs (below the knee). My central core is warm.

Well, it was about 45 overnight - and they're predicting a high of 94 during the day.

I think we get it both ways :)
