so is there any kinds of food people around you eat a lot that drives you crazy? right now my mom is sitting here with a bowl of icecream and tasty cakes mixed in it. it looks soo good but at this point i wouldnt even lay a finger on it. what do you guys do? do you want any specific food that people eat around you? or do you ever tell the person how bad something is? i find myself doing that a lot lately and my family just doesnt wanna hear it. :ohwell: and then the worst is when they offer it to me knowing i won't take it and then tell me to live a little. :noway:

One of my friends eats mayo with on his hot dog and with his fries. I'm talking GOBS of mayo. :sick: I like a little bit of mayo, but when I see that I just think he's eating a huge hunk of lard. Barf!0

Anything junky! I hate potato chips but since I've been trying not to get treats of my own I'm willing to eat something I don't like.0

Congratulations! Usually when someone wants you to join in it's because they feel it will be more fun for them. It may be that they are jealous of your willpower (and way to go, you have lots!) and smart choices. Every time you are tempted like this take it as a compliment and think about how far you have come and how healthy you are!0

I still eat bad stuff but just not heaps of it. If I don't eat any junk then I just feel miserable so my weigt loss is slow but I am happy too.0

I'm currently addicted to fish and chips. There's a place really close to my house that makes sweet potato fries. Next time I go, I'm gonna see if they can substitute salmon. If I can get fried salmon and sweet potato fries, I'll be in heaven! I really have to limit the number of times I eat that though.0

I love chocolate. Instead of buying the cheap stuff and eating lots, I am now buying expensive dark chocolate (which is better anyway because of the antioxidants) and eat a little of it.
As for temptation, I'm lucky because my husband likes to eat potato chips that don't appeal to me at all.:sick: Sometimes he has Wasabi peas and I do like those but the calories are not too bad for the fibre content. The important thing for me is to be aware of portion sizes and to log everything.0 -
Soda. I cant stand it when people just drink it. I use to be a soda junkie. What a waste of calories and dont even get me started on the sugar content. Blah! Its just so gross now.0

When I go out with my guy friends to a bar, and they get the buffalo wings, it makes me bonkers! I want to take the whole plate and either eat it, or throw it off a wall. But I don't, I just order the cup of chilli that seems to be on every bar menu, eat half of it, and silently sob in the corner to myself for about 20 minutes while they all eat their wings. *kitten*!0

The worst for me is everyone at my work are EATERS! I sit close to the kitchen, so I get to smell all of it, Chinese, burgers, fries, all kinds of homefood from the local diner, cookies, brownies, anything that is bad for you, it's in there! Its torture!0
