I was wondering how soon after I eat should I exercise? I normally feel sick for like 30 minutes or so after I eat but I am afraid if I wait to long I just won't exercise at all.

Just do whatever works best for you. Personally I can't expect to get a good workout in unless I'm almost or a little hungry. If I have anything in my stomach I feel sluggish and nauseous. I usually work out right when I get home from work at 5:30 and then make dinner after.

Same thing happens to me. I actually puked up what I ate one time and all I did was just go walking. I only workout on a empty stomach or wait at least 2 hrs after eating something.

I get nauseous if I don't have something in my stomach, so I eat a piece of cheese before working out. My husband, on the other hand, can't eat anything before working out or he gets nauseous. It just depends on the person. Figure out what works best for you.

    It depends on you.

I can't stand running with a full stomach, I normally run right after getting out of bed except on my Sunday long slow runs. I'll eat at least a couple of hours before I head out (same for races).

If I'm doing weights in the evening I have to wait at least an hour after I eat but I can ride my bike pretty intensely half an hour after eating.

Do you really feel sick after eating every meal? That doesn't sound quite right to me..............
