I have a sort of selfish reason for wanting to get in shape: prom. However I know that once I get myself on that road, I'll be able to maintain.
The first few days of running 2 miles are really hard though and my legs hurt. Ack.

Running gets easier! Eventually, those two miles will breeze by and you will barely be out of breath.
And hey, I'm getting in shape for lots of reasons, one being to rub it in some girls face that I had an argument with- and to make sure no one EVER gets me confused with her again. What ever the reason, being healthy is a pro for me (and you)...he he he.....Prom's a great reason to start getting in shape, and then there's graduation, and starting college, and then first dates, and life.... it goes on and on.
