New to MFP

Hiya, I'm Petrina. I've been using MFP for a week after successfully losing a lot of weight on a well known weight loss programme and then putting it all back on when I stopped attending. I decided I needed something that I was in control of and that I wasn't relying on anyone else. This way I am accountable to myself and I know what I've eaten and I can't hide from that.
This week I've lost 4lb and have eaten little bits of what I fancy and haven't felt deprived.

I'm a home educating mum of 2 kids who are 12 and 9. This means I'm in the house all day and have far too many occasions where I can snack. However I have started buying treats for my hubby that I don't like and making sure I have a full fruit bowl so that I have healthy snacks about.
