What to eat and when?

I am wondering what foods to eat and what time of day to eat them?

Is there any benefit to eating egg whites & toast for 1rst meal vs say...cereal and milk?

My trainer refuses to speak about this as she is not a dietitian...any/all help would be greatly appreciated :)

    It doesn't matter when you eat what really.

    As long as you hit your calorie goals and macro goals you are fine.

    Egg whites and toast would keep you fuller, longer for less calories and sugar than the cereal and milk.

    That's the general theme I've heard from various people. It seems there has to be some sort of 'secret' to how a body breaks foods down. Meaning, I've been eating more of my dense meals earlier in the day so I have time to burn them off and eating a lean protein & veggie at night for dinner.

    You're body works and digests food all day all night so there really isn't a perfect time to eat something.

    Some people won't eat heavy meals later in the day because it causes issues with sleep or indigestion. Some people will eat over 1000 calories within a hour of going to bed and they are dropping weight.

    Eat how it works best for you and your lifestyle.
