Cup of water?

How many oz is considered a cup of water? I drink quite a few bottles a day and one bottle has 16.9 fl. oz.

A cup is a cup is a cup. :) 8 oz per, so your water bottle has two cups.

8 fluid ounces to a cup, just like a measuring cup. Your bottle would be a bit over 2 cups.
  • There are 8 ounces in 1 cup

A cup, as a measuring cup measurement is 250 ml whereas an ounce is 236ml.

If I ever ask a question on the MFP forums that can be so easily answered by google, then I will welcome the "O_o" with open arms.

Just because Canadians are so darned polite doesn't mean that I can't point out that a Canadian cup = 250 ml....but it still equals 8 oz in our world or more specifically...8.45351

    Definitely the 8 oz. Duh: "8" ounces vs "1" cup. Do the math, 8 - 1 = 7. 7 days in a week!
