Freezer Guru Advice Please

Ok for any people who are freezer gurus: I have an abundance of cherry tomatoes, and would like to puree them and make them into either tomato sauce for pasta or into salsa. Do salsas and tomato sauces do well in the freezer? Will they be extra watery when resurrected from the freezer?
What sort of experience do you have? Also what sort of freezer container will work best?
Thank you in advance!

I've done this when I had too many tomatos at the end of the summer. I just made a quick, simple sauce with tomatos, olive oil and garlic then put the sauce in freezer bags.
I've never pureed the tomatos though.0
