Any other older women on here?

I just signed up for MFP after seeing it mentioned on the other weight loss Facebook page. I think I understand the basics of both programs but wondering if there are any other 60+ women doing this that might have some ideas to help stay motivated. Seems so much harder to lose now that I have gotten to this age.

If you go to the Groups, you'll find several for women over 60, post menapausal, etc.

I am a female, 70 yrs. and been doing MFP for a few months now. It has really helped me to see what I'm eating and it inspires to me keep under my calories for the day. Before when I "thought" I was dieting, I was eating everything under the sun, only smaller portions. I found out that is not the way to eat and be healthy. I did a lot of research on the internet and found MFP, joined, and I have been very happy. Even tho I haven't lost a ton of weight, I am making progress and my measurements are going down to. There are so many people on this forum that are willing to help, all you have to do is ask for advice. If you want to friend me,feel free. I will try to keep you motivated if I can. Dive right in, you can do this.:flowerforyou:

PS - the ticker below only shows part of my progress. I started out at 188 lbs in Aug. of last year before joining MFP and I am now down to 164. I have an intermediate goal of 160, but my ultimate goal is 155. Slow progess, but I WILL make it!!
