100 lb challenge march1st update

Figured I would start a new posting for this month. How is everyone doing?
Started Mfp on Dec 6th- 258:blushing:
last weigh in here feb 17th- 239
today March 1st 236 :love:
my goals now are to be at 225 April 1st in time for florida vacation
I would love to be somewhere right around 200 by june 26 my bday
Finally I want to get all the weight off by june 26th of next year to be at a lean 140

I bought a whole outfit today for the summer about a size and a half too small, even though I can get the pants to button I would love to be able to wear them comfortably. Big incentive because I really, really need new clothes and I actually have a lot more clothes in smaller sizes in my closet than clothes that I can fit into now. **only 96 more lbs to go**

    Weight on Thursday: 205
    Goal loss per week: 2 lbs
    Loss this week: 2 lbs
    Weight down so far: 65 lbs
    Weight to go for goal of 135: 70 lbs

    Almost half-way there!!

    That is great tamim. I can't wait until I can be down to half my goal. I love seeing my goal number keep coming down.
  • Hi, everyone. Just saw this post, and would love to join in this challenge. I have a lot of weight to lose, so I'm working on short term and long term goals at the same time.

    Lost 2 pounds this week

    Ok when I bagan this journey I was at a frightening 280. Today I am at 239. I can fit in size 18's again. That is something I have not done for 14 years. I am still going strong. I have had my ups and downs and at this moment I would call this an up.

    One thing I woul like to remind you all is to double check your calorie intake. It took me a long time to get out of starvation mode but I feel great now. I actually want to do more things.

    I am also new to MFP and would like to join this challenge. I am doing well on calories, but not doing enough exercise. :grumble: I need a fitness buddy to keep me accountable....

  • I am new to MFP. I started on february 15th and I kinda got off to a rough start. I have decided to have a "new beginning". When I 1st started I wasnt posting messages but i have been ready the message boards and I realized that there was so much support coming from everyone and thats what i really need is someone to kick me in the but and keep me on it.:happy:

    Goal: 145
    Goal by June 7th: 175

    My june 7th goal might be a little ambitious but I am going to try to get to it.

    I also lost
    1/4" around my chect
    1.5" on my waist
    .5" on my hips

    I love seeing everyone's results but mine don't meet to par. Mine keeps going up and down and I'm eating better, staying away from the junk and if i do crave chips, I literally count out "one serving size" if it says 29 chips I don't take 30. I sometimes don't even take the full serving, and it is not often that I crave chips.
    I don't even desire fries much anymore. They actually make me turn my nose. I have one or two then I'm done. I don't see how people can supersize the fries.. yuck!

    My goal isn't so much as 100 pounds but just 30-35 and I think I will be happy. I'm sticking with it though.

    I am new to this site as of March 3rd

    Starting weight : 204
    Goal Weight : 140
    Weight loss as of today : 0

    I know it will take time for my body to accept what I am trying to do so I am not discouraged. It is very motivating to read everyones postings. It is also helping me realize what needs to be done to get to my goal.

    my mini goal is to loose 10 pounds by April 12th. I have a wedding to attend and it would be great to be under the 200 pound mark!!!!

    The end goal is to be slender and comfortable with myself by May 2009 for my Bestest Friends wedding in which I am the maid of honor.

    It looks like I have hit one more lb lost. I think I will make new posts on the 1st and 15 of the month and anyone who wants to chime in can. It feels much better to post a loss than it to go up or stay the same.15 days should be hopefully efficent enough to at least have a one or 2 lb weight loss (at least for me) It is discouraging when it comes off slow but at least you are sticking to it. I have so many things coming up soon, baby shower, bridal shower, trip to florida, birthdays and a wedding all which I wish I could attend at my goal weight but I guess that my big reveal wait until next year.

    I promised myself I would post on the 1st and the 15th of every month. My starting weight was 258 on the 1st it was 236 today 235 not as good as I wanted it but I am hoping for an extra good weigh on April 1st first since I believe 235 includes is a lb or 2 of extra water weight. Plus on april 1st we leave our drive to florida so I am extra determined for these next 2 weeks. -heather- good luck everyone

    Hi Team! ! I want to be in the challenge too! I started out on 2/23/08 and have lost 10 lbs in my first 3 weeks!! I have a long road ahead of me....100 lbs but am determined to get there....good luck everyone!! We can all do this if we stay focused. :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

    I have been avoiding posting my results this week because I have been totally bummed to not see a 1 in front of my weight, which I was SO hoping for this week!! My TOM came 2 days before I weighed and I was super bloated to the point I couldn't even get my rings on comfortably....so it ruined it for me this week. Hopefully *Fingers Crossed* NEXT WEEK!!!
