My scale hates me.

For the last two weeks I have been gaining and loosing the same two lbs. I'm working my food plan, exercising every day, staying within or under of my calories and my scale goes up two lbs one day...down 1lb the next. This a.m. I stepped on the scale and I was up 17lbs! Yes, I know it's impossible...but I think my scale is my sworn enemy.

I guess there's wisdom to weighing in once a week.

You know I've often thought the same thing about mine. I use the wii fit scale and it seems to be pretty accurate (at least according to the gym scale) most of the time. But once in a while it depresses me :)

Did you move the scale? Or could there have been something under it?

Forget about the scale for a while and pick up a measuring tape!

Scales, like all pieces of machinery/technology, have a seriously warped sense of humour

I try to weigh myself daily. I think it helps keep me going. There are many days where I question its accuracy and feel frustrated. I tend to go with how my clothing fits. To me that is the best indication of progress.
