women 40+ would like to share the progrss

I am 63 and I would like to she 25 ti 30 lbs. I find it very difficult to socialize with friends as it always is around food. difficult to stay with 1200 cal. Most the time we meet in the evening. I have to be persistent. i need to go back to gmy. Wish could be consistent with excersize. when I read other's log i feel encouraged. I have just jjoined this site few days ago. 2 years back i did lose 17 lbs but it all came back. Hope fully I will meet my goal.

    I am also 63, a life-long dieter....lose 20, gain 30, lose 30, gain 40, til I was over 200 pounds! I've lost 20 pounds so far and joined this group almost three weeks ago. Finally, I can easily keep track of what I actually eat and count it! It makes things so much easier. My daughter is encouraging me to exercise more, but so far that hasn't happened. I know how important exercise is, and especially weight-bearing exercises, but.... But at least I'm losing weight! Yeah. One pound a week so far...but for me that's good!
    I hope you like the tools here and use them. I'm so GLAD to have found this site!
