So I am only a couple weeks in but I realized that at the end of my running it asks me to walk then will ask to cool down for 5 minutes. What is the difference? Should I be doing something different for my cool down than just walking?

My cool down is typically right after a run. Your cool down in a normal walking pace. When you walk in between a jog it should be a fast pace walk. Hope this helps0

my friend's app is like yours but mine is different. my last segment is walking but i don't have a cooldown. just a warmup. i think the apps vary. (i chose mine because it was free, had good reviews, works well with listening to music, and didn't take up much space on my phone because i didn't have a lot of memory)0

You cool down slower. I run about 4.2 MPH, walk about 3.5MPH and cool down between 3-2.5.0

Or you could walk and then stop and stretch for the cool down.0
