I apologize if this is a little TMI for some of you. But I will be happy when I can actually shave my area again. I gained a lot of weight, had a 9lb 13.5oz girl and a 11lb 3oz boy. With him, I had twice as much amnio fluid so I was HUGE. I also had to have them delivered via c-section so I have this big floppy belly. It's hard to reach far, lift up the belly and shave when I can't see much anymore... He gets mad because I don't anymore. But he just doesn't understand.../TMI
Totally not TMI, very understandable! Even when I was almost 100 pounds heavier I still shaved, but I had to do it mostly by feel LMAO so it took FOREVER, I like that it barely takes any time at all now, although I do have a hanging pooch of belly and loose skin, but it's much less heavy to lift out of the way to see now
I agree with the other poster, though, he could do it for you, that always turns into something interesting. :drinker:0 -
My husband got this shirt on a "wootoff" and its a small/medium. I could just get it over my upperbody but it was sooo tight. haha. I want that shirt to fit eventually. I would imagine Id be a size 6-8 by that time too.0

Wearing "normal" sized clothes. I've been overweight since before first grade. I've never been able to go into a regular store and buy clothing. It's always the plus stores. I'm just really curious to see what "normal" feels like (normal meaning not overweight).
Hey now! "Normal" is relative...and boring!! LMAO. But I DO know what you mean, and You need to hang in there, you WILL get there! I walked out of Target the other day with some size 12 jeans, and it didn't even feel REAL, and I keep trying them on, expecting them to suddenly not fit anymore lol. But now I have all this credit card debt from stores (Lane Bryant, The Avenue) that I can't even shop in anymore. *cries*0 -
My cardiologist was thrilled with my WL and not only decreased my BP meds but said in March at my next appointment, as long as I continue to lose weight, I can go off of my BP meds completely!! yeah!!0

I think we're all super excited to be fit and active and to love our bodies - not have them fighting against us!0

I cant wait to paint my toenails without grunting, My gut gets in the way (but at least i can paint my toenails now! I couldnt do that when i was 25 pounds heavier).
I reached this goal a few weeks back and it makes me smile everytime I paint my toes. I can actually sit on my kitchen chair and bend my leg where my foot is on the seat of the chair. Before this, my big gut was always getting in the way. Good luck on this NSV. Its a great feeling0 -
I want to discover my collar bones, they've been hiding for a very long time! I also cant wait till my double chin disappears for good!0

I know what you mean - I was like you as well, I had never not been fat, except maybe when I was four! I wanted to say for you to please please please hang in there. "Normal" feels weird and wonderful and unbelievable and has made me realise that being overweight is not a birthright. Believe in yourself and respect your desire to be "normal" because you can do it. All the best!

Thank you! I never really considered I'd ever get to "normal"...it's so far away that it seems out of reach. But the longer I keep up with this and the more weight I lose, I start to believe that it might just be possible!0 -

*L* That's why I used the quotes for the word normal! My favorite phrase has always been "Normality is character assassination."0 -
Not feeling like a hideous monster next to my husband when a pretty girl walks by (he isn't a scumbag, I just have major insecurity issues)0

I have no waist - that measurement is larger then my hips. So the day I actually have a waist, and a waist measurement smaller then my hip - will be victory!0

Mine is actually the same as yours, along with being able to buy a Halloween costume without looking into the plus sizes.0

I have this old pair of jeans I've been saving, I bought them 7 years ago when I lost about 40 lbs (I've since gained it all plus significantly more back). Needless to say they don't fit but they are my favorite pair of jeans I've ever owned, partially because they're a small size, but also because I just like them. I've been saving them and have recently been looking them for thinspiration my biggest NSV will be when can I get into them comfortably again.0

The day I can fit into a size 8/10. I was an 18 when I started... currently a 14.0

To feel comfortable wearing shorts in public. I can lounge around the house all day in them but the second I'm going out I put pants on.0

My short-term goal is to reach a 20lb. loss... I'm at 13lb loss now, so it's coming! My long-term NSV is to be healthy and be able to run outside without getting winded with my daughter. Also, to be able to walk into a store, pick clothes off the rack and have them fit instead of having to put on a 2x. I've come to peace with my body, but it would still be nice to be on the smaller side of the clothing rack. =]0

I have a few. To wear a bra with a not tight but I guess snug fitting tank top or t-shirt without seeing it's cutting into me. To wear tank tops without being self conscious of my arms. I already have eczema on them so that's bad enough. lol. My boyfriend likes to pick me up and kiss me and I always feel like I'm just too heavy...(I am pleased to say I have almost met that one. He picked me up the other day and didn't even have to keep pushing me back up I just stayed up there. (: It was nice & exciting)0

I have a dress. It's beautiful. It suits my complexion, my figure-type and my personality perfectly. It's been sitting unworn in my cupboard for two years. Soon, dress, soon. Mama's comin'.:happy:0

being able to wear shorts in the sweltering summer heat without my thighs rubbing together!
I'm currently helping out at my university's orientation week. Most of the activities are outside and we are all very active - gets us super hot and sweaty, which is no fun if you've got massive thighs like me! I have a rash now (very sexy, right?) and I will not be wearing shorts tomorrow as a result! I'm not looking for a thigh gap or anything, just less bulk there so I can be more comfortable when I'm active.
What about you guys? What are the non-scale victories that you're most looking forward to?
OMG this this this this this. I just blogged about the rash I got from walking. I miss shorts!!!!! And all of my cute dresses!!!!!!0 -

A stunningly beautiful friend complimenting me on "how awesome" I look. . . True story. Just happened to me this evening!! Hadn't seen this gal or her GORGEOUS little girl they adopted about 9 1/2 months ago since they had the post adoption baby shower. So, I've lost a good amount of weight since then. She is stunning and to hear her say I looked awesom just made my day! :-)0

The next time I see my granddaughter April, I will be able to skip, hop, and jump at the park. I will also be able to run, climb, slide and go places for longer than 2 hours without exhaustion taking over. I will be able to stand, sit on the ground, and stand up again without a five minute delay and grunting.
I will get to watch April and all of the grandchildren that come after her--GROW UP!
This is one of the many reasons I had to change my relationship with food. It's important!0 -
