Motivation Needed!

I have a tendency to get off track after a few days. Today is day one on my journey to losing 55 pounds. I am looking for friends to motivate and encourage one another.

    Hi...feel free to add me. I started the journey last February and am getting there.

    Consistency is the key. Log in EVERYDAY and log EVERYTHING even when you eat bad....including your exercise.

    People will tell you to "eat your exercise calories back" on this site. I have found that I can eat "some" of them back, but not ALL (I think the calories burned are sometimes over-estimated).

    Also, eat at least your BMR (you can figure that out under tools) or your body will go into starvation mode and slow down your metabolism which will slow down your weight loss!

    Try to MOVE your body everyday. 30 minutes of bike riding burns as many calories as 60 minutes of walking...so in time crunch...bike ride if you have one:)
