Christmas I love making it special for my girls with arts and craft, that decorate our house, baking Santa cookies(which my husband eats now :) ) and so many more fun and memorable things. Remembering old memories and the new ones we make.

Christmas!! The sights, smells, pure, crisp, white snow (northern Indiana gets a lot! :), smiles, energy, selflessness of most people, beauty, and the joy I see on my students' faces as they make gifts for their families in class. SO much fun! Can't wait!!!

Oh it's absolutely Halloween.. the weather, costumes, trick or treat, carving pumpkins, making fun Halloween foods, the decorations, the "scary" (my kids are still little haha) stories, cheesy Halloween movies, all of it. I live for Halloween!

I love the whole time from Thanksgiving till Christmas. The decorations, the food, the anticipation. Everything about it makes me happy!
  • I love Halloween because I love pumpkins! Cooking with them, decorating with them, carving them, pumpkin scented candles, you name it!

Halloween first, absolutely!! My 2nd favorite is Christmas.. It's just fun now that I have 3 little ones :)
  • Mine would have to be HALLOWEEN! Love the fall and the scariness of the season! The only thing I hate is the kids getting enough candy to feed a small country. Christmas is a close second! :)

    same for me :D

I would say Christmas except that I hate the weather at that time of year so I gotta go with July 4th. I love fireworks and backyard barbeques.

    nikola tesla day.
  • Christmas even though I'm a Buddhist  .

I don't care about presents or all that jazz. I love Christmas movies, and snow and the lights and glitter. I think its just so beautiful.

Thanksgiving. I always feel like I died and went to food heaven. lol.
  • Halloween. It gives women the excuse to dress like complete skanks and get away with it. I am a happy observer.

Veteran's Day. I have oodles of family and friends who are vets. I am so appreciative of all of them and let them know it. And... ya don't have to go all out to buy gifts!

Halloween for sure. I always find some reason to dress up even if I don't have a party to go to. I don't like that now that I'm older it seems it's more for the kids and I feel left out :(

I am a HUGE fan of Halloween, AKA National Come-As-You-Aren't Day :). Usually my friends and I do a theme and coordinate costumes. Our best effort was when about eight of us dressed us as characters for Mortal Kombat, but I think we'll have that beat this year (we're doing Archer this year).

    CHRISTMAS! LOVE IT.
  • The fall-winter holidays.

Halloween's a religious holiday for me, but it's also the signal to pull it together for the next two months; There's the family gathering at Thanksgiving, and often presents for the people who live down south go back with an aunt or a cousin for distribution then. My husband's birthday is the 5th of December, my boyfriend's is the 7th, my father's is the 14th, mine is the 17th. I've got another religious holiday the 21st, and then there's Christmas the 25th, with some traditional things to be done the 24th.

For me the entire month is a party, and since I start preparing for next Christmas on Dec. 26, it's not so tough to do. Usually when I put up the tree the day after Thanksgiving, the only thing left to buy for Christmas is some candy for the stockings.

Lights, music, lots of happy people, giving and getting presents, family, faith, and love....what's not to like?
