Calorie Counter?

Hi, I'm new. My niece uses this site and so do a few online people I've talked to, so I just signed up.
Question--there's supposed to be a calorie counter on this site? I see the words "Calorie Counter" on the bottom of the screen (I am on the web, don't have an I-phone) but when I click on it just keeps me on the page I am on.
IS there a calorie counter on this site, or do I have to go to an outside source?

I am sure your niece can show you around the site...
Look at the top of the webpage - blue buttons for 'home,' 'food,' and 'exercise.'
To enter calories click on the one that says food. And then your standard three meals will come up, and a 'add food' prompt is underneath each one... it should be pretty easy to figure out from that point. It is a similar process for entering your exercises.

My niece lives hundreds of miles and three states away.
But I see what you're saying--not the answer to the question I was asking, but good information.
I was specifically asking about a separate calorie counter--where I can look up any food and see what the calorie count is without adding it to a daily menu.
There's a little link that actually says "Calorie Counter" at the bottom of the home page--but when you click on it, nothing happens.

Click on the tab that says "Food" and then it says "diary," "database," etc. Database is what you must be looking for - you can type in a food and then it gives you the standard nutrition label breakdown of everything in it. Hope that is the correct information this time.
I think the link that you are talking about is just supposed to be the general home page, and the place to let you know how many calories are left, not an actual calorie counter.0 -
I see what you are looking at. When I click on Calorie Counter it brings up my daily diary. Once you start keeping track of your food it will bring up that page. When you look in the database for a food you should be able to see the nutritional value without actually adding it to your food diary. I do it a lot so that I can decide what I should eat somedays.0

You can look at the nutritional value of various foods and then delete them. They don't have to stay on your Food listings.0
