Anoyone know any secrets for burning more calories and/or comsuming less calories?
For example, ways to keep metabolism up, the best times of the day to have meals, components of a meal, etc.

Post your tips here!!! They will be greatly appreciated!

Let's see, try to eat every 2-3 hours, smaller meals. I try to eat 3 meals approx 300 calories, evenly proportioned, and than have 2 snacks in between of about 100 calories. If I know I am doing something that will keep me busy and force me to eat a snack instead of a normal meal, I would choose to eat the larger meals earlier in the day, so I am full longer, and my body has more time to burn off the calories, rather than waiting to eat till late. Also try not to eat anything after 7 or 8 pm. Drink water throughout the day, helps with hydration from exercise and also sometimes takes away the fake hungry feeling. Not sure where I remember this from, but I believe it's best to avoid heavy carbohydrate foods immediately prior to a workout and eat protein heavy foods shortly after a workout.
