I just bought Jillian Micheals the shred dvd on Amazon and I should be receiving it within the next week. My question is what should I expect? I never watched the biggest loser but I've seen clips and it looks tough! I'm 5'4 and 180 lbs. I don't work out often but I'd really like to and definitley need to. I did curves off and on for about 2 years but never stuck to it. I'm wondering if this dvd wil be doable for someone like me or if it will be over my head. Does anyone have any Jillian Micheals success stories? Or God forbid horror stories? lol

I really like this DVD. I first bought it when I weighed about 240 and I wasn't in very good shape, but I still managed to get through it. So it's doable, but there are some exercises that might be hard on knees (jumping jacks, lunges, jump rope, etc.) The best thing about this DVD is that it's the perfect mix of cardio and strength training in under 30 minutes, so I do it mainly on days I'm short on time. It definately does keep your heart rate up, and you will feel it the next day when first starting out. If you can't do the advanced exercises (I still don't do them sometimes), there is modified options so you can work your way up.0
