I'm running in a 4.5mile race for charity on Thanksgiving morning. When college started back I fell away from my C25K training program, and today when I went to go run a mile it took me 18minutes(before I was running it in under 13minutes). I was just wondering if any of you had any success with C25K, or if you had more success with a different running plan. Also, if anyone has a great strength program(especially one that helps with running) and would be willing to share it with me, I'd love to talk! I have a bench press/free weights/"body-weight" machine/resistance bands.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I say go with the C25k. It took me 10 weeks to finish the program and I went from not being able to run a full minute to being able to run 30 minutes non stop. My distance has yet to reach 3.1miles non-stop. I am SLOW! Working on that. My first 5k run last month was 50 minutes. Beats sitting on the couch! Good luck to you!0
