Summer's over - does that change how you view your goals?

Hey all! I had a baby in April, and before I even had her, I was day dreaming of bikini's all summer...well...didn't go as planned lol -- took a little longer to recover and start getting into the mode of working out and watching calories...then I had a vision of being a size 6 by my sister's wedding at the end of September...that's not going to happen either...

BUT somehow, since I know I"m in for a long, fully clothed winter, I don't feel so urgent about losing the weight all at once, I feel like I have another 8-10 months to lose this 45lbs instead of the tight timeline of a couple months I was giving myself before...it's a little freeing I must say.

I don't feel like I'm giving up, I just feel like I have the time now to be realistic about how long this is going to take...anyone else feel the same way, or anyone feel like I should keep up the urgency with a short timeline in order to stay motivated??
