Starting 12/7 - Goal to lose 30 - 40lbs before Spring

Hi everyone. I am new here but not to the weightloss scene. I have successfully transformed my body about 4 years ago but after having my 3rd child I kind of just lost all motivation and feel back to my lazy ways. Well there came the pounds.
I am 37 yrs old, mom of 3, with a bad habit of emotionally eating and lacking motivation. I have a 20 yr class reunion next year and don't intend on shying from the cameras or hating my pictures afterwards so I am determined in losing this pounds! The way I see it at 8 - 10lbs a month I will hit my goal with plenty of time to be ready to sport summer clothes. No more jiggly arms or flabby legs. Tired of the muffin top and the mom jeans.
I want to go from Frumpy mom to Fit and Slim mom. Would love to find others to join me in a challenge and that we can set up together.
Here is to a slimmer and fitter 2010~!

OMG!!!!! We are just alike. I too am 37 years old with my 20 year class reunion coming up in May 2010. I only have two kids and like my first, I kept 10 pounds after each. In time, I have become consumed with being an active parent in my kids lives and I seem to have let myself go. I am on a mission to lose 25 lbs before the reunion and as much as I can before the end of the year because we've been invited to some holiday parties. I'm going to start running tonight on my treadmill, alternating walking and running and use MFP to watch my caloric intake. MFP is a great tool!
