Hi all-motivation and help needed

Hi all my name is Joanne, I am 21 and an asthmatic.

Sometimes I find exercise difficult especially in winter when it is cold and damp (this is a trigger for asthma sufferers)
I am currently on 2 inhalors, one I take twice in the morning and twice at night that contains a small amount of steroid (which I believe is making me gain weight), I am also on a normal blue inhalor which I can take as and when needed (this doesn't contain any steroid)
I lost weight a few years ago, was really strict with myself and felt really good for it, I met my partner and think I got comfortable and the dieting stopped.
I would like ideas for excercise that would be good for me considering my condition is a hinder, what do you recommend? I did want to start jogging but a lot of people said this wouldn't be a good idea for me.
I also need some motivation to do this, I as a person do not enjoy the slog of exercise and would like some motivational techniques that keep you going.
