What's a reasonable percentage of bodyfat to lose per month?

I am wanting to focus more on reducing my bodyfat % rather than pounds alone. What is a reasonable goal to shoot for? I am at 38% right now so have plenty to lose. Any advice is welcome!

A woman of average weight and body fat percentage can expect true fat loss of 2 lbs per month. Individuals who have have 100s of lbs to lose can drop as much as 8 lbs per month. Women who are below average body fat will have a slightly slower progress than 2 lbs per month. You'd likely be just above the 2 lbs limit, though.0

Thanks for your reply - figures out to be a little over 1% per month which is kind of what I was thinking but wasn't sure.0

1-2% per month is pretty aggressive.0
