To log or not to log while on holiday...

The subject line says it all really. Do you keep on logging while you're on holiday/vacation?
I'm idly curious because I'm away later this week to see the in laws and I just know they'll have got in amazing beers, wines, cheeses and meats for our visit. Which is great, but potentially dangerous for me so close to the start of losing weight and getting fitter.
Obviously I'm going to be selective and not eat/drink as much as I would have in the past, but I know I'm going to exceed all my targets for about four days in a row. So I could theoretically log everything and keep myself in check that way. On the other hand I work hard and I like to enjoy my holidays so I don't want to make myself paranoid about my eating and feel miserable for exceeding my targets. And I really do like to eat phenomenal locally reared meat, locally made cheese, and drink interesting bottled beers from microbreweries.
It's a tiny dilemma, true, but a dilemma nonetheless.
Thoughts, anyone?
