Healthify Favourites?

Hi MFP :)

I'm looking for some tips and tricks to make my go-to recipes healthier. I've always eaten lots of vegetables, so I put them in things like spag bol, lasagne etc.

Risotto is on the menu tonight..I normally make it with chicken breast and chorizo, onion, chicken stock, aborio risotto rice and then stuff it in a roasted pepper. I'm trying to think about how I can make it lower in calories and all round better for us. I've got some baby spinach I can put in, and I can try and keep the rice portions down..

Do you have any other ideas? How do you adapt family favourites to meet your calorie goal?
