I weigh in on Mondays. Friday, Saturday and sunday I pigged out. I was about 500 calories above my limit. And today i gained a kilo. I know why i gained, i know my faults. Im just so dissapointed. everyone who im on a diet with have lost. they collectively lost 3kg this week.
Im a little down for going back to my old habits. I really didnt want to gain. Guess it made me realise that one needs to keep their eyes on their goal the whole time

The most important thing? What you are telling yourself? Whatever you say to yourself outweighs all the compliments you have gotten for losing weight. So that needs to change. If you can't look in the mirror and say something positive - move away from the mirror. Second, eating 500 cals over for 3 days is only 1500 cals total. Not even enough to gain one pound. SO, most likely your weight gain is from sodium + water retention. I'm guessing that you weren't eating over your limit with lettuce or carrots! LOL '
The outcome here will play one of 2 ways. Either you will get going today and continue on the path to a leaner, healthier you (best choice, by the way) or you can continue down the path of overeating and be back at you original weight very soon.
Your choice. Every day is just that. ONE day. Don't let it define who you are.0 -
Beachlover you are right. And thats exactly what i did. I took my healthy lunch to work and i am continuing with my C25k and 30 day shred today. I only took sunday off because it is my rest day. And anyway there is no way i can say im going back to eating unhealthy when my husband is in this with me. We completely changed our eating habits as a household. I just decided this weekend to eat a lot of snacks, and drink soda and have some chocolates. Ussually when i see the scale going up instead of down i lose heart. But not this time. I cant let my family and myself down.0

Great attitude!!! You know what went wrong and you're taking ownership. Nice one. That takes a lot of courage. I'm sure having your hubby along for the ride is motivating.0
